I only use 100% Bio degradable medium (Fibre Floral) as oasis is very harmful to the environment. All frames and bases used are Bio degradable or recycled plastic. I have become very focused on the impact that sympathy tributes are having on the environment, they are left at the crematorium to be disposed of on a Monday morning. My designs can all be composted and the plastics recycled. 

I have been a florist since I was 15 years old and ‘Sympathy Tributes’ have always been my passion, it’s an honour to make them for the bereaved families. The next chapter of my career is to create, inform and educate as many individuals and companies as I can about the need to create ‘Sustainable’ floristry tributes for funerals. I work with crematoriums to drive this forward as it’s also their mission.

My style is very rustic and natural with beautiful textures. I use branches, barks, mosses, dried flowers and foliage alongside the fresh material. This creates a natural style known as ‘Vegetative’. I love creating beautiful structures using natural materials.

I also have a category named ‘Tributes to take home’; these have been specifically designed to not look like typical sympathy designs, therefore you might like the idea of taking one home to enjoy further and act as a piece of remembrance, after the funeral service.

Under each tribute you will find information about the availability of the flowers to help you with your choice and to choose substitutes when something is out of season. I have also included the meanings of the flowers which is always lovely to know.
